Product of Doubt | Solo

For this solo episode, I decide to take the opportunity to reintroduce what Craft Talk is and share WHY it exists. The quick and rehearsed answer is INSPIRATION. Inspiration to learn from others and to absorb people’s experiences and thought processes regarding their respective disciplines, in an effort to find ways to improve my own. This version of my “Why” can be empowering and certainly feels like I’m tapping into a true purpose. However, if I was being honest, there’s also a complex and personal truth that plays a part in this equation.

For me, it’s DOUBT. Doubt, plays a factor in the way I create, whether I like it or not. Sometimes it can be used for fuel, but other times, it can cause a lot of resistance. I can say for certain that a lot of my creative work is a product of doubt (amongst other things, of course).

In this 14 minute self reflecting session, I unpack how doubt plays into my thoughts and along the way, I also share a concept that can be used as a way to take back some ownership of our worthiness so we can honor our skills exactly the way it was intended. Thanks for listening.
